Role
The candidate will assist the CFO in overseeing and managing financial operations, strategic planning, budgeting, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities. They will focus on working with our operating companies to provide financial oversight, instil financial discipline and ensure alignment with Clermont standards. They may also be responsible for implementing financial policies, conducting due diligence for M&A transactions, and ensuring regulatory compliance in all financial matters.

Responsibilities
We are searching for an entrepreneurial, driven individual to apply their finance, accounting, leadership and operations skills across multiple jurisdictions, to further strengthen our Finance team and provide financial oversight of our operating companies.
Support CFO with the following key responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Partner: Multi-faceted role, leading efforts in performance metrics and reporting, budgeting and forecasting accuracy, treasury and capital allocation
- Capital Allocation: Ensure effective working capital management and optimal utilization of available funds
- Portfolio Management: Advise operating companies on strategy, business plans, capital management plans and ensure alignment with Clermont standards
- Finance Processes and Systems: Instil financial discipline and drive continuous improvements and efficiencies in finance processes and systems at our operating companies
- Fundraising and M&A: Lead fundraising efforts, secure venture capital and private equity investments, and drive the company's M&A strategy, including due diligence and integration
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following traits:
- Deep domain experience spanning Healthcare/Aerospace/Investment
- International Chartered Accountant with 4+ years post qualifying experience in investment banking or management consulting
- Big 4 Accounting experience
- Strategic thinker with exceptional relational skills, able to represent the company well when interacting with operating companies or other external parties
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage C-Suite leaders
- International business background, able to work easily across cultures and geographies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and be very well spoken
- Openness to experience
- Highly motivated and well organised, able to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines

Administrative Details
Start date: Immediate preferred
Compensation: Competitive base salary
